Simone Parenti

I work on growth and community at Autodesk. I also build small products, write online, and use AI to make useful things a little faster.

Some things about me

  • I work on Growth & Community at Autodesk.
  • Before that I worked around Google, YouTube, games, SaaS, and creator communities.
  • I built MamaSkin because the internet was bad at answering one very specific skincare question.
  • I like communities when they help people do something useful.
  • I make short videos for people trying to understand tech from the outside.

Some things I believe

Community is part of the product.

If it helps people learn, return, or talk to the team, it is not a side channel.

Distribution beats polish more often than people admit.

A useful thing still needs to be found, understood, trusted, and remembered.

AI makes taste more important.

More people can build now. Fewer people know what is worth building.

Non-technical people should build more things.

You do not need to be an engineer to notice a problem, test an idea, or ship a first version.
